Part-time position on an as-needed basis. Accessibility Services proctors exams for students with disabilities who need an alternate/distraction-reduced testing location (not the classroom).  Proctors distribute, monitor, and collect all test materials.  Some students may need reading and writing assistance during testing.

Hours:

Exams can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours (for final exams).  Most test proctor shifts are several hours in length and consistent days/times of availability are preferred. The Testing Center is open from 9am am-5 pm on Mondays- Thursday 9 am-5pm 8:30 am-2:00 pm on Fridays. Spring Finals are May 3, 4, 6, 7, 8: candidates must be available to work during these times.

Qualifications:

A college education is preferred. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in proctoring exams in the academic environment. Candidates must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of student’s needs and test materials. Candidates must be punctual and professional in communication and interaction with students.

Hourly rate for this position: $14.00
