Executive Assistant

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the College’s Office of Advancement and will partner with the Vice President of Advancement/Secretary of the College in supporting the College’s Board of Trustees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to all members of the Office of Advancement and specifically to the Vice President of Advancement/Secretary of the College. This may include scheduling, expense reports, overseeing correspondence, etc.
  • In partnership with the Vice President of Advancement, coordinate the quarterly Trustee meetings and meetings of the Advancement & External Relations Committee and Committee on Trustees. This includes communicating the details of and overseeing the logistics for all meetings.
  • Take and write minutes for the quarterly Board of Trustees meetings, and all corresponding committee meetings.
  • Oversee the Office of Advancement’s Department Budget and provide monthly reports to the Vice President.
  • Provide event support, as necessary and requested, for donor stewardship and engagement events. This could include Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, Parents Weekend, Forester Society events, etc.
  • Offer, and provide as necessary, back-up support to the Office of the President

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as executive assistant required.

Must be a capable project manager and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to coordinate multiple projects in support of the Vice President for Advancement and Secretary of the College and the Development and Alumni Relations leadership team.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and capable of using other standard Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Teams, Slate CRM, and social media platforms, preferred.  Possess strong written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of College partners
