Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach (Part-Time)

Lake Forest College invites applications for the part-time position of Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. As a first-year varsity program during the 2022 season, the team finished with an 11-4 record and won the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference Championship. The position, which is ideal for someone desiring experience in a NCAA Division III collegiate coaching environment, will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to assist the head coach with a wide variety of coaching duties to continue to build upon and accomplish the overall goals and objectives of the women’s lacrosse program. The nature of the position is such that a considerable amount of evening and weekend work may be necessary. The chosen candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the Forester athletic department “team” and support the mission, goals, and procedures of the department and the College. 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist the head coach with all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, practice and game coaching, recruiting (including off-campus travel to prospective student-athlete competitions), daily administrative operations, strength and conditioning supervision, and other duties as assigned.  Candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment while motivating student-athletes, and be insurable to drive College vehicles.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with collegiate participation and/or coaching experience in women’s lacrosse at the NCAA level preferred.
