Assistant Football Coach

Lake Forest College invites applications for the full-time, benefitted position of Assistant Football Coach. The College is located just north of Chicago and the position, which is ideal for someone desiring experience in a NCAA Division III collegiate coaching environment, will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to assist the head coach with a wide variety of coaching duties to accomplish the overall goals and objectives of the football program. The nature of the position is such that a considerable amount of evening and weekend work may be necessary. The chosen candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the Forester athletic department “team” and support the mission, goals, and procedures of the department and the College.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist the head coach with practice and game preparation, recruiting, developing scouting reports, strength and conditioning, and other duties as assigned.  Candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment while motivating student-athletes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred, with a minimum of three years of coaching experience at either the high school or collegiate level. Candidates with NCAA Division III and/or proven Chicago recruiting will be given extra consideration.
