Part-time position on an as-needed basis. The Center for Academic Success proctors exams for students with learning disabilities who need an alternate/distraction-reduced testing location (not the classroom).  Proctors distribute, monitor, and collect all test materials.  Some students may need reading and writing assistance during testing.

Hours:

Exams can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours (for final exams).  Most test proctor shifts are between 1.5-3 hours in length. The Testing Center is open from 8:30 am-4 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9 am-5pm on Tuesdays, and 8:30 am-12:30 pm on Fridays: candidates must be available to work during these times.

Qualifications:

A college education is preferred. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in proctoring exams in the academic environment. Candidates must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of student’s issues and test materials. Candidates must be punctual and professional in communication and interaction with students.
