Our twelve residence halls provide students with a variety of options. In addition, some students choose to live together based on a common interest or purpose. All of our residence halls are smoke-free in accordance with the Illinois Clean Indoor Air Act.

Returning students live in singles. Modeled after buildings at Oxford, Blackstone Hall and its twin Harlan were completed in 1907. Blackstone’s location on Middle Campus makes it ideal for access to the main buildings, classrooms, the Mohr Student Center, and the Donnelly and Lee Library. It offers a TV lounge and laundry facilities. Programs in the hall balance the social and entertainment needs of students to provide a well-rounded living experience. Back to top >>      Cleveland-Young International Center A special interest hall for students who hope to study abroad, international students, or students looking for an internationally-diverse living community. Co-ed residence hall open to upperclass students on a space-available basis with an application process. Single and double-occupancy rooms. Offers a study, kitchen, TV lounge area, and laundry facilities Cleveland-Young is a tight-knit community and residents often hang out in the lounge for game nights and study sessions. Lake Forest College In The Loop

The Flats (Chicago)
  • The FlatsProvides students an opportunity to live in Chicago’s vibrant South Loop neighborhood.
  • Students reside on the 14th and 15th floors of The Flats in apartment-style spaces. Each apartment houses either four or six students in double-occupancy bedrooms. 
  • Each of the apartments contains a full kitchen, common space, and a bathroom.
  • Free laundry facilities are located on both floors.
  • Residency at The Flats is only available to students participating in the Lake Forest College In The Loop program.
