Part-Time Instructor of Chemistry - remote instruction only
The Department of Chemistry at Lake Forest College has an immediate need for an adjunct instructor to teach one or more sections of general Chemistry I lab for Fall 2020. Responsibilities include instructing one or more 4-hour afternoon lab sections, writing and grading assessments, and attending weekly staff meetings. Due to Covid-19, instruction is likely to occur in a hybrid format consisting of some on-campus and some synchronous on-line instruction. A Ph.D. in chemistry or related field is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is strongly preferred. A familiarity with gas chromatography and NMR spectroscopy is necessary.
