Lecturer in Biology (BIOL 221)
The Biology Department at Lake Forest College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach one lab section of our core course, Molecules, Genes, and Cells (BIOL 221), during the spring semester of 2022. This teaching assignment counts as one course prep with the expectation of providing four hours per week of laboratory teaching and additional office hours. If desired, there is the possibility of teaching a second lab section (of five total lab sections). Labs are already in place with a focus on experimental design. Although a PhD is desirable, candidates having several years of graduate study will be considered. Possible days are Tuesday or Friday afternoons from 12-3:50 PM. Spring semester at Lake Forest College extends from January 11th – May 4th.
