Instructor of Organic Chemistry (Part-Time)

The Department of Chemistry at Lake Forest College has an immediate need for an adjunct instructor to teach Organic Chemistry I laboratory sections.  Responsibilities for lab include instructing one or two 4-hour afternoon lab sections, grading electronic notebook entries, and attending weekly staff meetings (on campus or via Zoom conference). A Ph.D. in organic chemistry or related field is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is strongly preferred. A familiarity with IR spectroscopy, gas chromatography, and NMR spectroscopy is necessary.
