Join us for a discussion of our 3+3 law school programs with one of our partner schools, Vermont Law School.

Vermont Law School fosters a strong commitment to environmental justice, with the most comprehensive graduate environmental law program in the country, preparing students to work on the frontlines of environmental advocacy, energy and climate justice, and the sustainable food movement. Come to this session to learn about these exciting programs and what you can do now as an undergraduate to strengthen your application and make yourself a standout candidate.

Special Guests:

Beth McCormack is Interim President and Dean, becoming the first woman to hold the position in Vermont Law School's history. She received her AB from the University of Chicago and her JD, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law.

Xiaoyu Zhang is an Adjunct Professor and the Director of Partnerships of Vermont Law School. Her research focuses on comparative environmental law in the area of environmental public interest litigation, natural resources damages, watershed protection, and environmental impact assessment. She holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University, an LL.M. from NYU Law School, and an LL.M. from Vermont Law School. She is also a registered attorney in New York State. This event is hosted by Legal Studies program and co-sponsored by the Gorter Family Career Advancement Center.
