One of the most palpable byproducts of the COVID-19 pandemic is stress, which could have long-lasting effects on individuals and the nation, Professor of Economics Amanda J. Felkey writes in her latest article.

“Not only will this elevated stress affect our minds and bodies, but there will be severe ramifications for our economy. Individual stress inhibits productivity, causing a shortfall that will stifle profits,” Felkey wrote.

The article, “The stress-productivity shortfall,” appeared in Chief Learning Officer Magazine and its weekly Talent Management e-newsletter.
