Academic Technology

Academic Technology at Lake Forest College is a collaborative program of services and pedagogical assistance focused on providing creative ways to deepen and enrich the educational experience through the meaningful integration of technology.

We seek to foster innovation in teaching by elevating emerging instructional technologies and by researching ways to adapt and enhance existing technologies to meet instructional goals. As a partner in the learning process, we strive to understand what faculty intend to accomplish and to align the right tools for the creation of deeply instructive experiences. At the same time, our Academic Technology efforts work to expose students to relevant technologies for respective disciplines so they develop competencies that will assist in future career success.
